Partner Profile


ARMINES is a non profit research organization created in 1967 to enable a network of engineering schools to perform contractual research entrusted to them by companies or research agencies (French and international). Its workforce, close to 600, is located in the partner schools linked with the Department of Industry. Among their activities, Materials Science and Engineering is strongest. Centre des Materiaux, like the 15 other Mines Paris Tech & ARMINES research Centers, has two missions: Education in Materials Science and Engineering, and applied research for industry. Its workforce numbers 170 including 80 PhD candidates and 70 academic staff, research engineers and technicians.
